About the course

Graduates will have advanced knowledge of international relations, be able to conduct independent research and be capable of critical analysis of evidence and arguments. They will be qualified for careers in international affairs including governmental organisations, journalism, international institutions and civil-society organisations. Some graduates will be able to continue to the Master of International Relations (MIR, VI00A3) or a research-based masters degree. Alternatively, the postgraduate diploma may act as a step-off qualification from the MIR.
