About the course
This programme is designed to give you general English and study skills, and is the first step in your English learning journey. You’ll learn how to communicate effectively in different situations; from the workplace, to community activities, to conversations with your friends and family. Unitec employs the latest teaching practices, uses collaborative learning spaces, and provides a true campus and community experience, so you'll be prepared for success in a range of programmes, such as: If you're not sure, feel free to take this to help you determine what English programme to apply for. Alternatively, simply apply and we can move you into the right programme after you sit the placement test (if required). Successful completion of this programme will allow you entry into the , as well as any other Unitec programme that requires IELTS 5.0, including select Level 3 Unitec Certificates.
