About the course
Graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting. They will have the ability to keep reliable financial records, prepare financial information for an accountant and function as an accounts clerk in a small to medium sized business or pursue further studies in accounting.
Applicants must successfully complete Learning Post's competency test or have achieved equivalent English language, literacy and numeracy skills, for admission to this course. They must also have access to appropriate computer hardware and software and be accessible by telephone.
