About the course

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the arable sector with individuals who have the knowledge and skills to work as plant and equipment operators in the seed dressing industry.

The seed dressing industry provides key inputs for land-based enterprises involved in local and export production through the provision of dressed seeds which minimise the environmental impacts of pest and disease treatment and enables improved productivity through increased plant growth and viability.

This qualification is targeted at individuals who are employed in the seed dressing industry and wish to gain the skills and knowledge to implement all aspects of seed dressing to industry standards.

Graduates will benefit from gaining skills and knowledge which will enable improved job performance.

Graduates will be capable of working under broad guidance.
