Certificate in Catholic Youth Ministry

Graduates are qualified as youth ministers in Catholic parishes and Catholic schools throughout the country. Graduates will have a balanced knowledge of the relevant scripture, theology, and pastoral ministry, and the skills and attitudes to practice independently as youth ministers. Graduates can continue to further study at Diploma level at Wellington Catholic Education or directly into the workforce.

Te Kupenga - Catholic Theological College came about after the Catholic Institute of Aotearoa NZ merged with Good Shepherd College in Auckland in 2020. 

Our purpose is to provide qualifications for teachers in Catholic schools, men training for the priesthood, and laypeople working in ministry.
