New Zealand Certificate in Composites

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the marine and composite industries with people who are able to operate as composite technicians in the areas of manufacturing and repair.

This qualification is for people who are currently employed in a composite work place or those who wish to enter the composite industry.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to work in a range of unsupervised trade level roles.

Set national skill standards for the marine and composites industries. Arrange for off and on job delivery. Arrange for the assessment of apprentices. Provide information and advice to apprentices and their employers. Provide leadership within the industry on matters relating to skill and training needs.
