About the course

This programme covers units in literacy, numeracy, community skills, defence force studies, team building, fitness, communications and more. Vocational pathways enable students to achieve NCEA Level 2 and develop pathways that progress to further studies or employment.

Entry requirements

To be eligible, applicants must:  

  • Be 16-19 years of age at the time of commencing study or 15 with a school leaving certificate.
  • Be proficient in the English language (both written and spoken). 
  • Not hold NCEA or similar qualifications. * Enrolment is subject to an interview process
