About the course
Graduates will have an in-depth knowledge of human migration, which they will use to analyse practical and theoretical problems and devise solutions. They will be able to evaluate and implement quantitative and qualitative methods used in migration research. They will interpret and reflect critically upon client needs and will communicate their ideas effectively in writing and orally. They will be qualified to work in public sector agencies, non-governmental bodies (both national and international), and research establishments that work on human migration. For some graduates, this qualification may lead to doctoral studies in geography.
