About the course
Successful graduates of the Certificate in Vocational Studies programme will be able to demonstrate the necessary life skills, communication skills, computing skills, numeric and modelling skills they will need to confidently progress onto higher level, or vocational specific, academic study. In addition, successful graduates will be able to demonstrate specific attitudes, knowledge and core skills particular to their choice of strand from either, Trades and Technology, Primary Industries or Tourism, Hospitality and Retail.
Entry requirements
The following entry requirements apply, as stipulated by the TEC Youth Guarantee programme: Age: students must not turn 18 years of age within three months of starting study under the Youth Guarantee School;
