About the course
Graduates will be able to gather and write journalism of significance and substance, and be able to critically reflect on that journalism, informed by the appropriate academic literature. They will be competent independent researchers who have demonstrated the ability to critically analyse and evaluate evidence and ideas, interrogate assumptions and practices, and employ appropriate research methodologies, within the context of journalism as a practice discipline, to recognised international standards. Graduates will obtain positions in the journalism industry or, if they already work in the industry, significantly enhance their career prospects.
