New Zealand Diploma in Police Workplace Practice

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the New Zealand Police with qualified police officers who have attained sufficient operational knowledge and practical skills to achieve the rank of Constable.
This qualification is intended for New Zealand Police Probationary Constables working operationally in New Zealand.

Graduates will be able to operate independently, conduct themselves professionally and ethically, safely carry out a full range of duties expected of them, and in accordance with applicable legislation and organisational policy/procedures, and contribute appropriately to the achievement of the New Zealand Police mission and vision.
