About the course

Graduates will be able to:

Demonstrate basic literacy and numeracy skills,
Gain credits towards or complete Level 1 nationally recognised qualifications (i.e NCEA Level 1, NC Employment Skills L1),
Be responsible for their own learning,
Select options that fit their career aspirations,
Engage in further study at Level 2 or higher,
Gain employment in entry level positions in the workplace.

Entry requirements

Students will be required to provide evidence that they can progress through the programme of study. This may require interview, challenge assessments or submission of a portfolio of work to ensure that students choose the most appropiate programme of study. English language proficiency applies. Applicants who do not meet the above may be admitted to the programme of study if they are able to demonstrate equivlent knowledge.
