About the provider
Mind and Body was created in 1998 to respond to the need for input into mental health services by those with lived experience of mental illness and recovery. We are currently contracted to the Health and Disability Sector by four district health boards (Auckland, Waitemata, Capital & Coast and Canterbury), and the Ministry of Health, to deliver various mental health related services.
Mind and Body is a part of The Emerge Aotearoa Group. Emerge Aotearoa is a national provider of mental health, addiction, disability, housing and corrections services that operates in 17 DHB areas and employs 1000 people. They provide mana-enhancing services that promote health and wellbeing for individuals, family, whanau and communities.
