About the course

Graduates will be well-prepared to perform the role of a speech language pathologist and will meet the standards of practice of an entry-level speech language pathologist of the New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists' Association. They will be able to understand, evaluate and critically appraise new or complex information, including findings and discussions in the literature, research analyse, evaluate and argue from evidence and work collaboratively on tasks and show leadership. They will be able to communicate concepts, results and conclusions related to research findings and design and undertake clinical practice.
